Mattel Shenzhen

SCDA’s design for a mixed-use development at the foothills of Maluan Mountain features three distinct towers — office, residential, and hotel — strategically placed to enhance daylight and minimize overlooking. The towers are positioned in opposing corners, with angled footprints and podium edges to respond to site geometry. An overhanging wellness deck connects the northern hotel and southeastern office towers. The podium is vertically arranged to fit the site’s natural levels, with the southern plot divided into a raised private garden deck and a lower urban plaza. Ground-level open spaces and landscaped decks integrate greenery, water features, and public areas, enriching the urban environment.
